Who operates FileCheck
Lacey FileCheck is an independent FileCheck product operated by Txapela Publishing LLC. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by USDA, APHIS, CBP, LAWGS, or the U.S. government. These Terms govern use of the Lacey FileCheck website and software.
What you are purchasing
Where a paid package is offered, you are purchasing a one-time software and data-processing service that unlocks the applicable corrected working outputs and review package. Source data is supplied and controlled by you. Prices, scope, and current package details are shown before checkout.
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, source support, and final review of all data and every submission you make. Review the corrected working output, review-required items, current official materials, and qualified professional guidance where appropriate before filing.
Scope limits
FileCheck performs documented file checks and limited, reversible formatting fixes. It does not provide legal advice, make legal compliance determinations, determine whether a declaration is required, make HTS or scientific determinations, verify supplier information, file or transmit data, or guarantee acceptance by APHIS, CBP, ACE, LAWGS, or any other recipient.
Acceptable use and ownership
Use FileCheck only for data you are authorized to handle and for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with the service, bypass safeguards, reverse engineer the software, or use it to introduce harmful content. You retain your source data; FileCheck and its software, documentation, branding, and rule materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features, rules, and documentation may change prospectively as official guidance or product needs evolve. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Payments, refunds, and support
Payment terms shown at checkout apply to the purchase. The Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Contact support first if a technical problem prevents delivery so it can be reasonably remedied.
Liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Txapela Publishing LLC disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of FileCheck. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected FileCheck purchase. These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and applicable disputes are subject to the courts with jurisdiction in Florida.
Updates and contact
We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a new version with a revised date. For purchase or technical help, use the Support page. Do not send declaration files, invoices, XML, CSV, or supporting documents by ordinary email unless FileCheck support provides a secure method.
